oh what a book So amazing, I just couldn t put this one down Red Dawn shocked me in how much I loved it I got it at BN for.99 cents, but boy I would totally have paid for it It had romancea intense setting, paranormal creatures, and one sexy wolf We have a story of two lovers that find their HEA through struggle and pain Loved every moment Can t wait for the second one.

So much potential butAfter reading the synopsis I just knew I had to read this book and since the synopsis is so complete I won t bother with my usual summary I ll just give my opinion. The idea behind this book was interesting and it started really well, Avery was a strong character, she had to be due to all the abuse directed at her purely because of her hair colour, the prejudice made difficult reading at times.Tristan started off well and I was quite excited that I d finally found a really ou [...]

DNFThe concept was interesting but the execution was not.I m going to keep this short since I m running low on time The characters were bland and I felt very little of anything really for them They were too one dimensional with a pig headed hero and a weak willed heroine I felt like Tristan was very much driven by lust and Avery was unable to use common sense, getting her into the most ridiculous of situations I was also desperate to learn of the world that was built but found that where usuall [...]

What a gem this book is I loved it This story has a strong heroine and one very sexy alpha Lycan It was steamy and entertaining from beginning to end Excellent story and writing A must read for PRN fans I will definitely read from this author.

I liked this one though the heroine was too weak for me and I didn t understand the world at all There s never a clear description of what happened to the world and I m still kinda confused about it Also I never really got why Reds were considered bad Because they have magic There s fairies, and lycans, and vampires but they all don t like reds people with red hair because they maybe had magic Come on now Didn t seem logical to me And I hated how everyone talked like they were from a hundred yea [...]

It was a good book for the most part The relationship was very frustrating to me though It felt like there was to much back and forth Lots of drama, hidden feelings, secrets, etc The heroine, Avery, for the most part was a passive character She was a slave bought by Tristan I am not sure what time period this was She accepted way to much shit to keep her sister safe And it irked me to no end that she kept secrets from the hero, Tristan She was beat, almost raped, some serious shit but didn t wan [...]

Hot damn that was a good book Avery, the heroine, was such an awesome character She was definitely a favorite for me At times things became very rough for Avery and her sister Maya, but mostly just her Once she and her sister were purchased by the pig headed, arrogant, sexy as all get out, lord Tristan things got a little easier for Maya, but Avery continued to struggle with society s backwater view that red heads are all witches Her strength is continually tested by those who fear her or find h [...]

I started reading this book last night while high, and even that didn t really make it better I got it for free though, so it wasn t a horrible way to spend a few hours, although next time I m as bored annoyed with a story I ll probably just stop in the middle Too little time for shitty books, right Seriously This could have actually been interesting if the author had bothered to include information about the world the characters live in in the novel rather than just putting it all in the synop [...]

So review didn t save and that pisses me off, so this will be much shorter than my original review Things I liked The paranormal aspect wasn t shoved down my throat There weren t walls of dialogue or long bland explanations and descriptions, things were how they were and that was it and it worked.I liked Tristan He was very sweet and this wasn t even mentioned really, it was in his actions and allowed to speak for itself well done.Sofia could she have been cuter Maya and Marshall though I wasn t [...]

Avery started off as a very strong person when first introduced to the readers She was strong in character and a way distant all due to all the abuse directed at her because of her hair color, but then she became a shadow of her earlier character as the story progress Taking everything and saying nothing, even when given the opportunity the role of hiding her abuse made me mad I don t mind when female lead characters are not so strong willed due to their personalities but when intentionally chan [...]

4 1 2 5 stars Really enjoyed it I liked the heroine a lot she was strong, didn t care what other people felt about her, and went through A LOT The reason this book wasn t a solid 5 stars for me was because the hero, clearly a possessive alpha male wolf whatever did nothing to stop the abuse the heroine a was suffering from members of his staff and he knew what was going on I get that she was purchased as a slave, but this did not sit right with me One this that I found different about this book [...]

I ll have to agree with another reviewer on the matter of Tristan and his chosen way to address Avery I might be tempted to become part of the world if only for the chance to knee him in the family jewels Gosh, he had moments when he frustrated me so bad I had a couple of scenes where I wasn t entirely sure if I was comfortable with the plot, but it proved to be just fine I had thought I d really like Avery but she came across as a great, lovely, doormat and while the juicy scenes were great, I [...]

This book is currently free for both Nook and Kindle, so grab it quickly I just could NOT put this book down last night I can t really pinpoint why I like this book so much It isn t deep, there isn t much worldbuilding, and I can t quite figure out why Avery fell in love with Tristan But despite all that, I found this to be an entertaining, steamy read It s free, so why not give it a try yourself

I didn t like neither the hero nor the heroine She was too doormat and he was too an egoistical bully But I liked the story and the world building that was ineteresting and that waas why I gave 3 stars I m curious to read the next book, but I m a little bit afraid too what if I don t like the MCs again O_o

Great start to a brilliant seriesI have read this book several times and I still love it.The futuristic yet simplistic living due to a great war that has desimated the population and left whole cities deserted.Tristan buys Avery and her sister Maya from a slave house when his young daughter Sophia demands it.His infatuation with Avery is almost instantaneous but many have heard rumours of Red haired people s powers and warn Tristan away, his mother included. When Avery is kidnapped Tristan must d [...]

Re building after a world war in a world with vampires, werewolves and fairies and witches Avery and Maya have been sold into slavery by their mother for drug money They are bought by Lord Tristan a Lycan that has a lonely little girl and her sickly little brother needing a nanny Avery has a secret she is a healer but she also has red hair so humans, lycans and others call her a witch and want to burn her Great new world building Liked this.

Great book now I want I really enjoyed this would love to know about the world of red moon though and will be reading the rest of the books later From the moment I first meet Avery i feel in love with her.

I actually had a bit of a hard time in the beginning to get into the story but I did and loved it Made me cry too but in a good way.

I literally had tears towards the end of this book Like, I actually cried a little The romance wasn t soppy but intense and passionate and had my heart fluttering So So So good

I liked this world very much which is probably why it earned 3 stars versus the 1 star the male lead and plot deserved.

Honestly have no idea what to say about this book I think I kept reading to the end just to see if anything started to make some kind of sense Hmm Not really It seemed like such a great story aside from the terrible people in it there was just so much missing Like there was a lack of any explanation about the world they lived in the time period or anything to tell you anything about pretty much anything I don t get the whole thing about people with red hair why so many people seemed to be sold i [...]

I haven t read anything from this author and I absolutely loved it It s set in the future and takes place after the Great War Since the war, the world has gone back to basics with no mod cons, travel is by horse and carriage and electricity is a luxury that seems to be rationed and only the wealthy can afford Lycans, leeches vampires and faeries live openly amongst the humans and Lycans actually have a higher standing in society with humans being used, bought and sold as slaves.Tristian is a Lan [...]

It has been a while since I ve enjoyed a book as thoroughly as I enjoyed Red Moon Elizabeth Kelly has a comfortable writing style that readily causes the reader to emphathize with the characters If the truth be told, the plot is fairly predictable, the love making wonderful and the action is perfect At times the dialogue evens borders on being a bit sappy yet, I thoroughly enjoyed it Now that, it the sign of a good story.Avery and her sister, Maya have been sold into slavery by none other than t [...]

Lately I ve been reading a lot of supernatural romance but after reading Kresley Cole and her awesome Immortals After Dark series, they don t always measure up The plots are weak, the world building is vague and the characters are cliche and just not complex or unique enough to warrant than two stars and Red Moon, sadly just followed the pattern.I liked the idea of the world having been changed and who doesn t love the idea of Vamps, Werewolves and Others walking the face of an earth nothing li [...]

This is the second book I have read by Elizabeth Kelly and I must say that she is now one of my favorite authors Her writing style is not only flawless, but it is easily read and very steamy I really enjoyed the feel of this book because it was set in the future with an old world feel to it with lycans, fairies, witches and leeches I was so mad at myself for not catching on to what a leech was when they were first mentioned Oh and the fairies, they were not your cute little fly around granting w [...]

This was a great book It isn t at all what I was expecting from reading the excerpt but I m glad I didn t over look this one I loved the characters and the world that was built for them There were a few quirks that bugged me a little I feel some of the great idea s the author created to build the characters weren t followed through on For instance, Avery would often keep an incident of abuse from Tristan, which I believe was to support her character of a good person that wasn t looking to cause [...]

I really enjoyed reading this Red Moon takes the paranormal premise werewolves primarily and mixes it with a historical feel.It takes place in a post apocalyptic world where the society pretty much falls back to feudal times.I found the premise was very nicely written I applaud the world building the author has done I m able to immerse myself into the realm, so much so that I wish she will explore and give us detail of what happened to human society, and what has brought about the change to pres [...]

I don t know what I was expecting going into this book, but it definitely wasn t to be so impressed I downloaded this novel on a whim but it was worth it The reason I don t give it 5 stars is because I wish the author had told us about the world Over the course of the novel, she gives us bits and pieces and it s our job to put them together However, I felt there was still much she could elaborated on For once, I actually wanted the author to write a couple paragraphs pages discussing the histo [...]
