2017 re read Love it just as much this time around Helene is quite possibly my favorite heroine of the Age of Faith series And Abel Oh Abel Strong, stubborn, loyal, fiercely protective Abel Love him I am so excited to move onto The Longing usually my favorite in this series every time I re read themwe shall see if that sticks this time around d even so this time knowing I have ANOTHER book after Everard s story.Side note the audiobooks for this series are superb I m so glad I splurged on them I [...]

I give this book four out of five stars for being an entertaining book, a journey of physical and emotional recovery, with a fun cast of characters. What I liked 1 The characters, both Helene and Abel were complex and interesting people I like how Abel s family interact with him, doing things because they know he will or will not tolerate it 2 The romance between Helene and Abel was initially a love at first sight kind of thing, but their attachment truly grew as they got to know one another in t [...]

I made the mistake of reading books four and five back to back, I should have paused to write the review for book four before starting book five I guess, that just shows how addicting the series is that I couldn t wait to start the next book.I have looked forward to Abel s story from the beginning, I was always curious about how this fierce warrior would fall in love I admit, I was a little surprised there was not that much action in this one, just considering his reputation He is wounded at the [...]

I worried I sighed I panicked I swooned And I enjoyed this story about Sir Abel Wulfrith, who was greatly injured and desiring to die at the end of book three, The Redeeming, in the Age of Faith series Helene of Tippet is summoned to tend Sir Abel from his physical wounds that may well leave him less than the respected warrior he once was As she works with the stubborn, angry knight, she challenges his mental and spiritual wounds to heal too Their close proximity reveals their desire for one ano [...]

The Kindling is the fourth book in The Age of Faith series by Tamara Leigh This is the story of the youngest Wulfrith brother, Abel and Helene of Tippett, the Healer whom he fell in love with in book 3, when rescuing her from her father, Aldous Lavonne. As with the other books in the series, this book contains plenty of sword fighting and romantic tension I did enjoy this story and it leads itself into the next book which focuses on the last brother, Everard I ve also learned that book 6, which f [...]

Another 5 star read I m amazed at how well written this series is Two GREAT leads, lots of adventure and love One of the things I love about this series is there is not as much lack of communication compared to other historical romances And can I just say that Duran whose been in all of the books I believe, 2 4 I know for sure is AWESOME He s had his trials but this guy really comes through when you need him I want to see him get his HEA Dare I hope for 5 books in a row that were at least 4 star [...]

Two amazing series from author Tamara Leigh, THE AGE OF FAITH SERIES and THE FUED are absolutely incredible I m not going to review the books individually, because I read both series so fast nine books in all , I have too many stories buzzing around in my head I would not do them the justice they deserve Needless to say, it was an incredible journey filled with knights and ladies, castles and baronies, romance, intrigue, and tragedy. The true center of THE AGE OF FAITH SERIES is the Wulfrith fami [...]

The Kindling was a good installment of in the Age of Faith series with a somewhat unconventional and unexpected heroine Many parts were well told with less insta love then there was in other installments, and even the possibility of a serious alternative love interest Sir Durand making it uncertain who the heroine would end up with I did enjoy seeing the developing relationships between the characters, but as another reviewer mentioned the later books in the series give the impression of being a [...]

I absolutely loved this book Tamara Leigh is the best of writers I couldn t put the book down, I took every opportunity to read it This story had so much in it It was just so full of love hope intrigue suspense everything you would want in a book I could not fault it, it was perfect In fact I have just bought the next one in the series and cannot wait to read about the last of the Wulfrith brothers and the families I have come to love This would be one of the best books you will ever read Enjoy. [...]

Really likeI m not much of a series reader They kind of drive me nuts if I read them back to back However I m a big fan of this series I like the characters, the setting, and Tamara weaves a beautiful story.

TerrificGreat series, clean but not boring tHe faith is also nice to see and read above gods plans for us all.

Wonderful Love the siblings story it s full of action and love also understanding Finished each one no then one day it s that good.

Oh how I loved this one Helen and Abel are both great characters I also really enjoy Sir Durand s role in this book The tension and pace through the plot progression is great I loved everything about this book.

Tamara Leigh is fast becoming one of my favorite authors She is a Christian author but she doesn t overload with conversion efforts I love her stories I love the way she flows from one character in the family to the next I do struggle with the repetition of what went on the previous book or when there is too much description When it bothers me I skim and go to the good stuff I am reading her fifth now and look forward to her writing a sixth

This is the fourth book in the Age of Faith series Helene and Abel actually met in book 3, The Redeeming At the end of that book, Abel was gravely injured so Helene has been summoned to tend to him They fall in love as they spend time together but when Helene reveals a secret about her history, Abel rejects her She leaves Abel to start anew but living in a new community turns out to be dangerous I love the way this author writes medieval stories The language, the descriptions, the people, she ma [...]

Tamara Leigh is my new favorite author I can t recommend her books in this series enough This is a series but each book stands on its own and you re not left hanging and must buy the next to see what happens These are full length books rewarding you with a nice long read that isn t filled with a lot of filler fluff and nonsense It s a book that s appropriate for all ages and has a nice Christian undertone that is encouraging without being preachy, cliche, or even holier than thou rather it s hon [...]

I ve liked this series so far for it s historical setting, but I did not find the story of Abel and Helene as interesting The story was not bad, but it still fell a little flat for me It may be that this series looks at one family at overlapping times so there stories intermingle when in the previous book that part of a character s life was concluded This was not a large issue, however, I felt this novel was character and relationship driven versus action driven so this issue stood out Overall [...]

I think Abel is my new favourite Wulfrith I liked the gambling, breathe death, live death Wulfrith from our first encounter with him in the series, but this book really allowed you to understand all that lay beneath the man s man exterior.I was intrigued with what may lay ahead for Abel and Helene from The Redeeming, and this book provided all I could hope for and .Simply wonderful

Beautifully writtenThe only thing I didn t like about this book is that it ended Tamara Leigh puts you right in the story You feel the characters Of course you ll be in love with the men in this story as well as the h, the entire journey It s not a cake iceCream clean read, just a smutless wonderful action romance.

First read 12 3 2013 3 2nd read 7 7 2015 4 I am enjoying this series on audio I like the narrator s voice the stories flow together very well I liked this one better the 2nd time around.

Wow Talk about your sweeping, heart wrenching story The books in this series absolutely transport you to the medieval period Well, that s all I m going to write because I m going to go buy Everard s story now Bye.

Love As I do with all her books But now after reading another mid evil romance which I will leave nameless I realize just how classy and tactful Tamara Leigh s books truly are I can t say how much I appreciate her writing

I liked this series Set in Medieval England with Knights and Kings and Lords and a fair amount of fighting, they glean interest than your run of the mill romances And they were clean, which was especially nice for a series written about this time period too often, they are not so.

A good book It s not my favorite of the series but I still enjoyed it enough to read it all in one day.

Third reading of this book Just as good the third time around I ll probably read it a fourth time, too.
